Mac's New and Improved VersaTie Idler is dramatically better than our old fitting. The old fitting is great when pulled in a straight line; but when pulled off-angle, it could get out of shape. Our new design eliminates that issue by keeping the pivot point securely in the proper place. As with our other VersaTie Double-Stud Fittings, the new Idler fitting is rated to 5,000lbs breaking strength. It pulls the strap down to an inch off the deck of the trailer as the strap runs out from under your fender, wing, or splitter. Mac's Idler is the lowest in the world.
