HO track cleaning pad, fit most all freight cars, easy installation.
- What Athearn cars do they fit?
They are pretty universal, they can be adapted to most any car even hopper cars with alittle more work. Usually 40' box cars work the best. It's just a matter of drilling two small hole in the car floor.
- When they get dirty, how do you clean?
You clean the masonite pad with old tooth brush and lacquer thinner.
Not sand paper or anything abrasive. You want to retain rough surface of masonite,
that is what does the cleaning and picking up of the dirt.
- Since you use a nail, how do you reuse or change pads?
You don't change the pad you just clean it fairly often or when you see it is dirty.
